Last week, Alongside index protocol announced an $11M Seed raise lead by a16z and joined by Coinbase.
This is surprising because typically, DeFi projects raise between $1 million to $4 million USD and all DeFi index projects have a low capitalization ($1 million to $15 million MC).
Few people have heard about Alongside, as its AMKT index only has 341 holders.
This piqued my interest because VCs need to be forward-looking as their allocations are locked in for a few years.
